Bluebell wood

The beautiful shades of blue that carpet a bluebell wood can sometimes just be seen waving from the lower corner of your eye as you pass by. Swing your head around and you will be rewarded by a throb of stunning blues and greens that will catch the dappled light and entrance you. We are so lucky to be entering Springtime here in the countryside with warmer nights and certainly more daylight pulling the flowers up through the top soil in their seasonal dance. On the farm we have corners of mature woodland which now are a thriving hubbub of bird activity, insect noise and thrusting spring flowers. It does feel like in Chaucer's words a 'green and lusty' time of year!
