The Barns
The barns were formerly the stables, grain barns and livestock yard for the farm. As farming has become more specialised these buildings have fallen into disrepair and it is wonderful to see them restored yet still recognisable in their original guise and playing a new role on the farm. Harnser is the name for Heron in Norfolk dialect – apt as you will often see one surveying the pond opposite. Raynham Breck, Peak Hall and Mill Hill are all names of fields on the farm.
